This great sounding Prima Sankyo has been improved with a RF mechanism [Raymond Fabrizzio design made for the Sankyo Co.] which allows the third octave E to speak clearly as a result of the reduced size in the lower G Key. This design is much like a lower G insert, and functions on par with split-E mechanism so popular today.

Silver Sonic Primas have silver tubing throughout; however, cost is reduced by having the mechanism plated which has no effect on the sound. Here you have all of the necessities of more expensive handmade flutes but at a greatly reduced cost.
