Built in 1972, this Powell has a steady warmth to it that is quite enchanting. Powerful, focused, penetrating and comfortable articulation and pitch are some of the characteristics that jump out when first blowing this flute.

Being sold without its original head, we have a number of recommendations that truly bring out the greatness of this instrument. The flute has well-used traditional felt pads and is in excellent condition. Though the pads show some discoloration on the impressions from use, they are unlikely to need to be changed for a number of years to come.

This is a great deal for someone who has long desired an affordable upgrade to a full concert instrument.
