2000 series Powells are coveted for their remarkably complex tone and #2319 is no exception. It is so surprising to play this flute with a light feel in the hand and receive a heavy, rich, sumptuous sound that projects and tapers like any gold flute. The flute was crafted in 1963 by the finest artisans at Powell and few flutes today compare with this commercial model gem. The headjoint articulates beautifully with a resonating hum mixed with delicate crisp attacks that produce a secure staccato throughout all registers. Legato playings is achieved with admirable ease.
No dings, dents with minor scratches on the lip plate.
Traditional pads are clean and in good condition.
