Verne Q. Powell Silver Flute #3726 -[SOLD]

Powell Silver #3726, Handmade Commercial Model, made in 1972 Sterling silver, drawn tone holes, .018" tubing, Traditional Powell Scale, A-440, French cups, C foot joint, in-line G

Verne Q. Powell Silver Flute #3726 is a prime example of the 1970's concept of flute-building at the Powell factory.

A sturdy construction, this "Commercial Model" instrument has the very dark sound that is typical of the .018 heavy body. It has the resonance that is best brought out of it with a large air supply, and once the sound is moving it has a commanding, powerful presence.

In excellent condition, with no dings, dents or scratches. With used traditional pads, and just serviced and voiced by Your Flute Works, this flute will be sold with a long warranty on the recent repair work.
