Verne Q. Powell Silver Commercial Model Flute #3223 - [REDUCED]

Powell Silver Flute #3223, Commercial Model, C foot, Open Hole, .018 Body, .016 Head, A=440

Powell Flute #3223 has been owned and played by Doriot Anthony Dwyer, former Principal Flutist of The Boston Symphony Orchesra. Made in 1969, this flute has an extremely vibrant quality that brings about a brilliant, powerful and sparking array of colors, very rich with audible overtones.

Extremely quick and flexible articulation, and a resonant ring - even through very fast passages - makes for a combination of presence and command.

In excellent condition, with no dings, dents or scratches. Straubinger Pads were installed, which are in very good condition and will not require attention for a long time to come.

Price: $9,500

New price: $8550
