Made in January 2005, and this Lafin is being sold by its sole owner, who played it in numerous Principal Chairs in the Maryland area. It possesses intense character and style and projects with all the power and beauty one would expect of such an impressive head joint.

There is an amazing spin, central to the sound, which provides a command that belongs in the hands of a soloist, a Principal Player, or any passionate player who desires the experience of having their flute truly singing!

These fabled headjoints, made by J.R. Lafin, have become highly sought after amongst flutists. Brannen-Lafin headjoints are indeed available, but the original Lafin's are now considered vintage, irreplaceable headjoints!

It has been sized to fit in an .016 flute barrel (so will not be suitable for a gold flute body with a .12 barrel).
