Lafin 9k Gold Headjoint, with 14k Adler Style Embouchure # 512 6. Made in 2006.

This Lafin was purchased in USA by its sole owner just prior to the time that Mr. Lafin joined forces with Brannen Brothers Flutes to commence the creation of Lafin-Brannen Headjoints. As a result, it is amongst the very sought after headjoints that are now considered to be "Vintage Lafin."

The 9k/14k combination adds a graceful weight to the sound that is produced, and would prove to be spectacular on a brighter instrument, or excellent for someone who plays with a good supply of air. Its big, warm sound is particularly resonant on a gold flute, and has profound possibilities in dynamic changes.

Buoyant and quick articulation, wonderful pitch control, excellent focus and warmth are amongst its many beautiful characteristics. The tubing size of .012 has never been altered, and is therefore a perfect fit for a gold flute. Seller has decided to let this Lafin go, as she has gone back to playing an all silver flute.
