William S. Haynes #51343 - SOLD

William S. Haynes #51343 handmade, Sterling silver tubing, with silver mechanism C# trill key, and B-foot. 14K gold: crown, riser, D# roller, 14K gold: B natural thumb key, 14K pointed and Y arms, and end rings.

The last time a Haynes with similar specs came to us, it sold before we could advertise it on the website. #51343 has such a beautiful sound, and it is one that we haven't heard in a great long time. The omnipresent volume of sound which can be felt in both ears, not only includes a great deal of warmth around a huge core, but a natural spin in the tone as well. The voice is clearly "Haynes" in nature and beckons a vintage tone rather than that of a newly made flute. However, it was made in 2003 and pitched at A-442. The craftsmanship is exemplary of the Haynes company. Our photos show the flawless finishing of the varied metals to be clean, symmetrical, impeccably executed, and visually stunning.

The flute articulates beautifully while maintaining a lyrical and soulful line. Tapers are effortless. The mechanism is stalwart and smooth.

No dents, dings, or scratches. Impeccable!
The pads are in like new condition.
