Made in 1971, this Haynes has a powerful and substantial strength in its projection. Not for the faint of heart, it takes a good amount of air to access all the rich colors that are within its palette. This flute would be well suited for a player who enjoys a slight amount of resistance, and who desires the sweet and centered quality that
will carry to the back of a hall!
Emblematic of the integrity of sound that that period in NY musical history holds, when one thinks of the Golden Age Haynes it is often those instruments built in the 1950's and 1960's, but in recent times it seems the early 1970's are considered to be amongst the sought-after Vintage Haynes. It has made its way to those top NYC who know the most about older Haynes, and it
has already gotten great reviews from all of them.

replace these pads for many years.
