Made in the late 1940's this earlier closed-hole Haynes has the rich and solid sound that is the well-kept secret that doublers seek out and covet. Agile and with a strong projection, it can hold its weight easily when played in a section, or solo. Warm and solid in its palette, the heavier body in no way causes it to be resistant... but simply: powerful!

Owned by a prior player in the Rochester Philharmonic, and a former student of Joseph Mariano, it has traditional pads that are in no way new, but are high functioning! Clean/oil/adjust just completed by Anne H. Pollack/Your Flute Works, comes with a warranty on the repair work.

In great, used condition with minor dings, but no scratches or dents.
