Despite the weight associated with this extremely dense metal, the key action is comfortably resilient to make for a good, workable balance while handling this instrument. Extremely quick articulation, and warmth that shimmers in each octave is somewhat uncharacteristic for what is the usual cooler tonal palette associated with platinum flutes. Wonderful, smooth lines can be carved out of the air, as legato playing is native to this amazing flute.
