Burkart Flute #278 has a fascinating presence of its overtones,so distinctly well-balanced, that it is one of things immediately noticeable when first blowing this flute. White Gold, which is still relatively rare amongst the usual fare of gold flutes, has a characteristically agile quality more often associated with silver, yet has the depth, warmth and penetrating quality of a rose or yellow gold flute.

As a soloists instrument, it would deliver the strength needed to fill a hall...yet as an orchestral flute, it would blend and offer the nuance for great section playing!
