This Brannen-Cooper is a pleasure to introduce into Your Flute Works inventory, with a forthright, powerful and colorful tonal palette. Rich in overtones, and strong projection are two of its very consistent qualities, throughout each octave. Extremely rapid and responsive articulation allows one to fly through fast passages, and the pitch is very reliable at all dynamic levels. Excellent possibilities to shine in a chamber music setting, or to blend easily in an orchestra or pit ensemble. Wonderful liquid fluidity make for a myriad of easily reachable options in expression. A lovely instrument.

It was built in 1990, with one sole owner, it received steady maintenance at the Brannen shop. The Straubinger Pads are new as of 2005 and in excellent condition...without the need to change them in the foreseeable future. Your Flute Works/ Anne Pollack just did a Clean/Oil/Adjust on this flute, so it will include a two-month warranty on adjustments.

Comes in a Brannen double case, with room for extra headjoint or piccolo...and case cover.
