In Cuba, Brazil, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe, in Yonkers and in Harlem I have found my home in many, many hearts. In these places, at the nexus of nature, culture, and Spirit, my soul lives in a state of wonder.

The giants of liberation inform my inspiration. Reflecting on these towering figures in their devotion to the struggle, I witness them as Forces of Nature who guide me in my activism, my aesthetic, and my aliveness in the world.
